Dr. Autum Shingler-Nace joined Cooper University Health Care in October 2023. She is responsible for operational oversight of surgical and procedural services, including Perioperative Services; Cardiac Catheterization, Electrophysiology, and Gastrointestinal labs; and Interventional Radiology.

Dr. Shingler-Nace has nearly 20 years of experience in surgical services and procedural operations. She has served in both hospital and ambulatory leadership, in academic and community roles focusing on clinical and nursing operations, business and strategic operations, and service line roles. 

Prior to joining Cooper, Dr. Shingler-Nace served as the Vice President of Operations at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, focusing primarily on the hospitals within Southern New Jersey. In this role, Dr. Shingler-Nace had oversight of the Jefferson Washington Township Campus and primary responsibility for key service lines such as neuroscience, cardiovascular, oncology, and women’s and children’s. During her time in this role, she received recognition as one of the “Women to Watch” by South Jersey Biz, as well as a Women of Achievement Award for Gloucester County. Dr. Shingler-Nace also held several leadership positions at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center during her career. 

Dr. Shingler-Nace is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with her Doctorate in Health Care Executive Leadership and her MBA from Waynesburg University. She obtained her Nurse Executive certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
