About Me
Dr. Luryi is a neurotologist and lateral skull base surgeon at Cooper University Health Care. A graduate of the Yale University School of Medicine, he went on to complete his residency training in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Following this, he underwent an additional two years of training in Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery at the prestigious Michigan Ear Institute, the highest volume ear and lateral skull base surgery center in the United States.
Dr. Luryi specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of hearing loss, chronic ear diseases, vertigo, disorders of the facial nerve, and skull base tumors such as acoustic neuromas. He gives regular lectures in ear and skull base pathology at institutional, regional, and national meetings. He is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and the American Neurotology Society. He has also served as the lead investigator for multiple clinical studies, including those involving acoustic neuroma, cochlear implantation, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, and otosclerosis.
