If you are concerned about your child’s development, our specialists at the Child Development Center at The Children's Regional Hospital are here to help.
We work with you and your child to understand his or her strengths and needs and identify support and resources for his or her success. Our team is a major referral center for comprehensive diagnostic assessments of infants, toddlers, school-aged children, and adolescents.
Your child will be evaluated for developmental delays, learning disabilities, cognitive levels, speech and language disorders, emotional and behavioral difficulties, and gross and fine motor deficits.
Multidisciplinary Approach
Our development physician partners with pediatric sub-specialists such as school psychologists, learning disabilities teacher consultants (LDTC), speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and social workers.
