About Me

Dr. Kaufman’s endocrinology practice focuses on the management of Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes. He has particular interest in insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring. Dr. Kaufman emphasizes team-based care and works closely with the Endocrinology Division’s diabetes educators to develop individual care plans that promote diabetes self-management  As the Medical Director of Cooper’s Urban Health Institute, Dr. Kaufman works on innovative models of health care delivery such as shared medical appointments, which are available at the Cherry Hill and Camden locations.

Dr. Kaufman is an amazing endocrinologist and is going above and beyond to help me with a blood pressure issue as well as nutrition for upcoming endurance rides that I will be doing.

Dr Kaufman under stood how I was feeling and he said he would do it and he gave new insulin and I am writing everything on the paper I got I have been feeling better each day
