2017 Quality and Patient Safety Award Winners
In honor of 2017 Healthcare Quality Week in late October, Cooper University Health Care sponsored the third annual Quality and Patient Safety Awards to recognize the numerous innovative efforts geared toward improving care and creating a safe environment for patients and staff. The winners were selected by a committee of Cooper employees who evaluated the programs on a number of metrics, including high-quality clinical outcomes achieved, improved patient safety, sustainability, and measurable results.
Cooper Program Promotes Anti-Bullying Message in Advance of Nationwide Movie Release
Using the book and the movie as an inspiration and in recognition of National Anti-Bullying Awareness Week, November 13-17, 2017, Cooper University Health Care's Regional Cleft-Craniofacial Program, is planning a series of events and activities at local schools and several of Cooper's outpatient offices to highlight important anti-bullying themes.

George E. Norcross, III, Chairman of Cooper University Health Care, joined elected officials, representatives of Camden County College, Hopeworks 'N Camden, and leaders of local agencies to announce the Cooper Health Careers Initiative (CHCI), a new education and job training program leading to employment, offered free of cost to eligible Camden residents.
