SIDNEY R. BROWN is a third-generation owner and the Chief Executive Officer of NFI, a leading third-party supply chain solutions provider.

NFI, founded in 1932, provides global supply chain solutions and has locations across North America. Family owned and operated since its inception, NFI’s suite of solutions consists of dedicated transportation, warehousing, fulfillment, crossdock, distribution, eCommerce, brokerage, transportation management, drayage, intermodal, global logistics, and real estate.

Under Sid’s leadership, NFI has successfully acquired various companies, including California Cartage Company, G&P Transportation, and Dominion Warehousing, to diversify geographically and enhance services to provide customers with extensive end to end supply chain solutions. Today, NFI employs more than 16,000 associates across North America. NFI’s dedicated and drayage fleet consists of more than 5,300 trucks and the company operates approximately 68 million sq. ft. of warehouse and distribution space. NFI has experienced over 12 consecutive years of top line growth, generating over $3.8 billion in annual revenue.

Sid is currently a Board Member of J&J Snack Foods (NASDAQ: JJSF), FS Investments Energy and Power Fund, and Cooper Health System. From 1990 to 2017 Sid served in various capacities with Sun National Bank, including Chairman, and interim CEO. Sid is a 2016 recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Sid graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University. Prior to joining NFI, Sid began his career as a financial analyst with Morgan Stanley in New York City.

Sid and his wife, Sandy, have three children, Courtney, Eric, and Jacob, who are among the fourth generation working at NFI.
