About Me

Dr. Fahey specializes in breast reconstruction at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper, and credits her father, an oncologist, with inspiring her to pursue a career in medicine. Dr. Fahey specializes in plastic surgery and breast reconstruction because of the technical challenges as well as the opportunity to help restore a womans body image after a mastectomy. She chose to practice at Cooper because of the chance to help all women, but especially those who are underserved. Dr. Fahey earned her medical degree from Cornell University Medical College, interned at North Shore University Hospital, where she also completed a residency in general surgery, completed her plastic surgery residency at Cooper and plastic surgery fellowships at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, and Charlotte Plastic Surgery Center, P.A. When not working, Dr. Fahey enjoys tending to her garden.

I like Dr Fahey very much. She is always positive and takes an interest in my care. Her staff is very good. After I had my appt on Thursday I had a question and I sent a message. I received a reply from dr fahey staff via email within 20 mins. Timing of appointments are an issue . However I can't get to upset about this as I know people need to be seen and they are scared and need help just as I did almost 3 years ago.

Dr. FAHEY did my breast reconstruction after breast cancer surgery. She is an exceptionally talented, empathetic, technically skilled surgeon. As a surgeon, myself, I can attest that she is top notch- a doctors doctor. I could not be happier with her as my plastics and reconstructive surgeon.

Dr.Fehey, Colby, staff, and surgeons on Dr Fehey's team are the BEST. I would have gotten through masectamoy without them. My incisions look great, dr Fehey always always pulls me off the ledge. As busy as she was, she still took time to ask me about my first week of chemo. She is thorough and a perfectionist and always puts me first. I am blessed to have them as my team

Very short waiting time in waiting & exam rooms. Dr. Fahey is lovely. She explained my options thoroughly & made sure I understood her explanations. I feel I am in good hands.
