Transitioning to Practice

Before and During Nursing School

Many opportunities exist for those interested in becoming a registered nurse (RN) at Cooper University Health Care. Through Cooper's Transition-to-Practice Program (TTP), nurses are supported in their journey from student nurses to professionally practicing RNs. All new-to-practice (NTP) RNs begin in an engaging and enriching learning experience starting with a robust orientation to the organization and Patient Care Services department, followed by a comprehensive nursing skill-building workshop and core class schedule immersion. Upon completion, RNs begin their individualized unit-based orientations and the Nurse Residency Program

We look forward to seeing you grow your nursing career with us!
